 I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night.
The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.
Psalm 121

  • Taking a break "pause" in Florida! We got in late last night to David and Mari's place. It's always comfortable at their house. Good coffee, lots of activity, and comfy beds. Thanks guys for your over-the-top hospitality!
  • Traveling went really well yesterday. We got through all the airports, security, and luggage check-ins without a hitch. Praise God for airplanes.
  • Our time in Nebraska with mom and dad was great. We enjoyed spending our last days in Nebraska with them. Good-byes are tough.
  • We are looking forward to spending a few days here in Florida before we touch down in Haiti on Friday.
Saying good-bye to dad. Good-byes are hard, but not forever.

Makayla and mom are laughing at Ethan.
Can't remember why, but he's always got something up his sleeve.

BIG cart. Ethan always is helping me out.
He's growing in manliness and wants to be useful.

E wanted to try out the pool. It was cold so he swam alone.

We are praising God for His faithfulness today. Three weeks ago we made the decision to book tickets.
A good portion of monthly support was still needed. God provided!

Our car needed to sell before we left. God provided and it sold in less than 24 hours!
We needed to pack up all of our stuff and get it to four different locations. By God's grace it's all in the right spots!

Andrea had a list of stuff to buy before we went. She prioritized the stuff into three categories of importance. God provided for everything on the list!

We had a hundred little details that need to be attended to. Everything is done.

There were several things that looked like mountains ahead of us before we could go. He made our paths straight and made those mountains flat.
