The Countdown.
"It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name,
O Most High;
to declare Your loving kindness in the morning,
and Your faithfulness every night..."
Psalm 92:1, 2

It is hard to believe that October is whizzing by and we only have 10 days left in country.  Psalm 92 is a great place to plant our focus.  We thought it would be good to count down with you by focusing on Who God Is and little snippets about what our last 10 days in the States looks like.

  • Today we enjoyed a couple of Makayla's girlfriends over pumpkin scones & coffee (a little early birthday celebration for her).  We're counting the friends God has provided in this past year as triple blessing.  We are so thankful!!
  • Jason's brother and his wife are settling into our Broken Bow home as we are shuffling out of here.  They have a one year old daughter that is a constant bundle of delight.  My favorite - Ethan holding her on his hip.  He's becoming quite good at it.
  • Enjoyed a slightly slower paced day.  The past two weeks have been wildly-wacko!  Half of our belongings have either been shipped to Haiti or have been given away.  The other half is screaming for our attention in one of three categories: keepsake, eventually going to Haiti or suitcase worthy.  It's called Potent Packing.
  • Gave Makayla a much needed haircut before we pack up our scissors.
  • Ate delicious butterball and chicken noodle soup made by our lovely sister-in-law, Christin!
  • Jason worked all day and gladly wrote thank you notes to some of our new supporters.
  • Ready for bed!
