A little anthropology in book form.  These books come highly recommended.  In my opinion they should be read by anybody that's crossing cultures, especially to do with Haiti (or Africa) (or Mexico).  They are so good.  So helpful.  So eye-opening.  Whether you're short-terming it, actively sending, going long-term or just curious.  Great resources.  Buy them!  Read them!

Travesty in Haiti
(Note:  Travesty in Haiti is not a Christian book with a Gospel perspective.  There is some language but it is eye-opening as to the culture and other challenges Haiti knows.  He is a frank communicator.  So read with caution.)
